Tufts N Trills Maine Coons is a small registered “closed” cattery breeding Maine Coon Cats. We are located in Oklahoma, USA. Our cattery is registered in TICA (The International Cat Association) and CFA Cattery Organizations.
Our vision is to breed healthy, harmonious and beautiful Maine Coon Cats with a wonderful temperament, which the breed are well known for and have given it the nickname “The Gentle Giant”. Because our cats are our pets first and their health is of utmost importance, we only have a few breeding cats and therefore we only have Maine Coon kittens a few times during a year.
We take steps toward producing the healthiest kittens possible. All of our breeding cats are screened by a board certified cardiologist and must be found free of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) ( the recommended method to aid in reducing the incidence of this genetic condition) , and are genetically tested to be free of the MYBPC3 gene which can cause HCM, they are radiographed to be free of Hip Dysplasia as well.
All cats are guaranteed to be FeLV and FIV negative at the time of purchase. All of our cats are fed a raw diet of ground chicken with the necessary vitamins, minerals and fish oil added to ensure their nutrional needs are met. We offer Orijen dry kibble as well. They are given special treats of freeze dried rabbit, chicken and goose. Just let them hear the package rattle and you have a very attentive group at your feet!

Our kittens share our bedroom from birth until they are old enough to join the household. At that time they are everywhere, in everything we do, preferably on top of it. Our cats and kittens are never caged, they are members of our family. Our kittens are given baths, have their nails trimmed and become accustomed to being handled. Our cats are a minimum 14 weeks before they leave home but may be older if we decide they are not ready to leave. All kittens moving from here will be registered in TICA , be vaccinated 2 times, wormed and chipped, a spay/neuter agreement as well as a no declaw agreement included in the sales contract.
