Dallas Pet Expo

Dallas Pet Expo -May 20-21, 2017

What an eventful weekend!

Traveled to Dallas to deliver 3 kittens to their new families.   Our Miss Bernice and Mr. Bartholomew  met their new family and Baby Baruch went to live with his new show family.

They are all adjusting very well.

We also attended the Pet Expo and our litter were such good babies.  The sights, sounds and constant attention from visitors never bothered them in the least.  Perfect little show kitties!

Miss Abigail competed and received a Best of Breed in Toni Meisberger’s ring!

Time Flies!

May 19th is just around the corner!  Three of our babies will be going to their forever homes in Texas.

Our fiesty little Bernice will become Tiger Lily and will join her brother Bartholomew who will be known as Noah to a wonderful family in Texas.  We are so pleased that the two will remain together in their new home!  They will live a pampered life as well loved family pets!

Our gorgeous red head, will be living in Texas as well and will strut his stuff as a show kitty!  We are very pleased his new Mom will pamper him and show him off to the cat fancy!  And we will still get to watch him grow!

We have decided that our lovely Babette will remain with us and share her lineage with her future babies.

That leaves our sweet baby Bethany and our very confident Bekah looking for their homes.  These girls are almost carbon copies of their dad, Lord Baxter.  Don’t miss out on these girls, they are wonderful, playful and very beautiful Maine Coons.

Thunderkatz March 17 – 19 Oklahoma City

We were very pleased to attend the Thunderkatz  Happy St. Catrick’s Day Show in Oklahoma City.  We were honored to received 5 finals with our Lord Baxter and three with our Abigail.

It was a fun show and we made many new friends.  Can’t wait for the next one!

Best part of the show was having Lord Baxter’s HCM scan done and finding out everything is 100% ok~!

Big Tex Cat Show, Waco, TX Feb 11 & 12, 2017

Tuftsntrills Abigail attended The Big Tex Cat show last weekend in Waco, Tx.  We were very pleased with her acceptance of showing and very proud of her for placing in 4 finals.   She placed 3rd best kitten under Judges Charlotte Shea and D’Ann Kovic, and 9th Best Kitten under Judges Joe Edwards and Karen Stinson.

She was a dream to show and shows as much promise as her dad, Lord Baxter.

Turkish Van Connection , Waxahachie, Tx

December 10 and 11, 2016

We were so excited to attend the Turkish Van Cat Connection show.  It was our Abigail’s first show experience.  We were so please that she was her usual calm cool self.  She allowed the judges to handle her without any issues.  She was in the kitten class with 7 Maine Coon kittens. and a total of 48 long and short haired kittens.   She was one of the youngest kittens in her class.  We were pleased to receive a final under  Judge Vickie Shields.  She placed 3rd out of 48 kittens.  Vickie had many good comments about her confirmation.  We as breeders were very happy to hear such praise about our program and to know that we are on the right track.

Red River Rascals, Oklahoma City

We were excited to attend the Red River Rascals show in Okc , Oct 15 & 16.  Lord Baxter was entered to show and received an additional two Best Cat Finals from Judge Bobbie Tullo.  We are ever so appreciative of her kind words about our boy.

While there, we held a party in honor of Lord Baxter receiving his Supreme Grand Champion title.  Cupcakes in the image of Lord Baxter were served from the “Cat Tree” made especially for this occasion.  Those in attendance had some very kind words about Lord Baxter and his refreshments.

Our thanks for all who shared in this honor bestowed on our big boy Baxter.  He truly is a loving boy!

KansasKatz, Wichita, Ks

Sept 10 and 11 we attended KansasKatz show in Wichita, Ks.  This is the show where Lord Baxter began his show career at the tender age of 5 months.

We were after that very elusive Best Cat to solidify his Supreme Grand Champion title.  The First day brought him many finals and in the next to the last ring Judge Heather Roberts selected him for a final.  The countdown begins from 8th best to 7th best…. Ok down to the top 3, wow we are still in the running!  Now top 2!!  Oh my she chose Lord Baxter!!! Everyone clapping and congratulating us!  I have never experienced such joy in the cat world!  I can never thank Judge Heather Roberts enough for this honor.  Supreme Grand Champion Cascadmtn Lord Baxter Rumbelow!

The second day found us walking on cloud 9 and our Baxter as calm, cool and unphased as ever!  We again were chosen for Heather Roberts final.  So totally unexpected was to again receive Best Cat!  Her kind, complimentary words about Baxter will be forever in my heart!

None of this could have been possible without the wonderful breeding program of Susan Milburn of Cascadmtn and the trust she placed  in allowing Baxter to be our first addition to our cattery!  Eternal thanks Susan
